The Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (OSEA) is conducting a workshop series to review its policy positions and long-term policy strategy. The goal of the workshop series is to get feedback from the OSEA membership and the larger OSEA network on its current positions to ensure that they reflect the interests, needs and views of the membership.

If you are currently a member of OSEA, this is an important opportunity for you to weigh in and help shape the direction of the organization. If you are not yet a member of OSEA, this is your chance to get to know the organization and to find out, if we are the right fit for you.

The basis of discussion will be this Draft Policy Positions DocumentWe kindly ask that anyone planning to attend review it in advance to be ready to discuss those topics that are of most interest and importance to them during the meetings.

While the main purpose is to gain input from OSEA members, non-members are invited to share their thoughts with us. The sessions will be conducted using either the world café or open space technology formats, allowing attendees to weigh in on the policy areas that they are most interested in.

The feedback from the sessions will be gathered and consolidated into a final policy position draft document that is to be ratified by the membership during the upcoming Annual General Meeting on March 31, 2016
