Energy Advisor Foundation Exam Training

Registered EnerGuide Energy Advisors are becoming highly valued professionals across Canada, especially for the housing sector.

Natural Resources Canada created and administers the Registered Energy Advisor program to ensure that Canada has the professionals it needs to guide the housing sector to an energy-conserving low-carbon future. Currently the federal government is hoping to see an additional 2,000 individuals trained for this profession.

Developers and home builders need Registered EnerGuide Energy Advisors to oversee the energy performance of their projects in order to achieve the highly coveted EnergyStar rating.

Homeowners that want to qualify for the new $5,000 Canada Greener Home Grant program, and other similar homeowner energy incentives, need their house to be assessed in advance by a Registered EnerGuide Energy Advisors, and then inspected by the Advisor after completion to receive their grant.

Training programs for prospective Registered EnerGuide Energy Advisors, and current practitioners who want to upgrade their skills:

E106 Energy Advisor Foundation Exam Training is a three day course to prepare students for the mandatory NRCan Energy Advisor Foundation Exam.

Following successful completion of the Energy Advisor Foundation Exam, students can advance to take our three day E206 Energy Advisor Exam Training to prepare them for this even more rigorous NRCan exam. Students who pass this exam are designated as Registered EnerGuide Energy Advisors and are fully qualified to perform in any designated role for this profession.
