• SR&ED in the sustainable industry and pitfalls to avoid
• Highlight relevant programs or grants that sustainable energy companies in Ontario could leverage from a provincial and federal perspective

*The SR&ED Program, administered by the Canada Revenue Agency, uses tax incentives to encourage Canadian businesses to conduct R&D in Canada. These tax incentives come in three forms: a) an income tax deduction, b) an investment tax credit, and/or c) a refund. SR&ED provides more than $3 billion in tax incentives to over 20,000 claimants annually, making it the single largest federal program that supports business R&D in Canada. Corporations, individuals, trusts and members of a partnership of all sizes, and in all sectors, are eligible to apply.
